My name is Maria Kotsinari. I was born and raised in Athens, but I chose to live with my family in Syros for the past 25 years, enjoying every moment. I lived in New York for four years and studied in Greece and the United Kingdom. I have worked in hospital units in London and Athens as a General Nurse and a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nurse. Since 2001, I have been serving at Syros Vocational High School (EPAL) as a secondary education teacher in the field of Health and Welfare Sciences (the last five years as Deputy Director). I hold postgraduate degrees in "Nursing and Health Sciences" [University of Edinburgh], "Management of Child & Adolescent Mental Health" [University of Newcastle], and "Educational Studies" [ASPETE]. I speak English and Italian and possess skills in "project management" and "human resources management." I have participated in multiple European initiatives with scientific presentations, represented Greece at a national level in specialized fields, and volunteered in social and sports activities. I particularly enjoy music, cinema, and theater, and in my free time, I prefer reading classic and contemporary literature.

For the past nine years, she has been teaching painting in schools and art workshops while also participating in group exhibitions, conferences, and festivals, with a particular focus on minority groups.

My name is Nena Floraki. I’m from Thessaloniki, but since 2013, I’ve made Syros my home and decided to spend the rest of my life on the island of my heart. I studied translation (English, French, and Spanish) in England and completed a master’s degree in Hotel and Tourism Business Management. Currently, I work as a Manager at a hotel with seven suites in the most beautiful area of Ermoupolis, Vaporia. I am happy with the life I live and have accepted who I am, though I always strive to improve myself, find calmness, and confront my inner traumas through self-reflection, calming activities, and holding my dog, Kara, in my arms.

I am Lina Fournistaki.
I was born on April 16, 1973, and I live in Syros. I am the mother of 22-year-old Markos. I share my home with a Golden named Noel, who thinks he’s a dog. Love is the emotion that defines me, and the word "mom" enhances my personality, my aesthetics, my ethics, and my strength. I am a chef and have been an entrepreneur in my field for the past 24 years.
With the experiences of an island family, surrounded by the scents of herbs and lime, and the sounds of the sea and wind, I continue to share moments and impressions at every opportunity.
I love to cook up moments, create joy, prepare feasts and gatherings, count friends, flirt with songs, cherish the dawn, the sun, and the earth, and keep company with the moon in thoughts of solitude. I enjoy raising a glass of wine to our health and watching the whole world reflect in our eyes.
